My awesome 'Premier Noël en amoureux'

Ho Ho Ho! J'espère que vous avez tous et toutes passé un Noël M-A-G-I-Q-U-E et que vous avez eu des cadeaux super cool :3 Je suis un peu débordée par les révisions et les dossiers à finir pour les partiels, mais j'ai vraiment trèèèèès envie de vous faire partager mon bonheur ! Ce noël était vraiment spécial pour moi! Bien que mon chéri et moi soyons ensemble depuis trois Noël, c'est le premier qu'on fête que tous les deux ensemble, et franchement c'est le meilleur Noël que j'ai passé depuis trèèèèèès longtemps. Ne vous méprenez pas, ma famille m'a manqué, mais plus on grandit et plus Noël perds de sa magie, et là c'était juste tout l'inverse :D

Ho Ho Ho! I hope you all had a M-A-G-I-C-A-L Christmas and got some awesome presents :3 I'm super busy studying and finishing up my case studies for my exam, but I reaaaally wanted to share my happiness and excitement with you ! This Christmas was really special to me! Even though my lover and I have been together for three christmases this is the first one we spent together only the two of us, and it was the best Christmas I've had in a veryyyyyy long time. Don't get me wrong, I missed my family dearly, but the more we grow up and the more magic Christmas looses, but this time it was the complete opposite :D

Je vais pas vous mentir, au début je FLIPPAIS ! mais alors complètement! j'étais terrifiée à l'idée de devoir passer ce Noël à deux, parce que c'était la première fois que ça m'arrivait, et je n'avais aucune idée comment rendre cette soirée magique. Mais honnêtement, les choses sont faites d'elle même : - mon chéri nous a acheter un joli petit arbre (manque d'espace et petit budget oblige), un vrai ! aussi une première pour moi qui décorait depuis toute petite le même arbre en plastique qui se dégarnissait d'année en année (je t'aime et t'aimerais toujours vieille chose); - on a fait ensemble une liste de courses pour les décorations et le diner; - et on s'est séparer pendant deux heures le jour même pour aller acheter les cadeaux. Ce fameux soir, on a chacun passé plus d'une heure enfermé à emballer nos cadeaux avec le trois-fois-rien qu'on avait : moi dans la chambre, lui dans le salon. Ensuite chacun à eu une tâche à faire. Mon chéri était notre cuisto :

I'm not going to lie, I was FREAKING OUT! literally ! The idea of spending Christmas with only my love terrified me because it was a first and I had no idea how I could make this night magical. But to be honest, everything fell in place very naturally : - my love bought us a tiny little tree (small space and little money obliged), and it was a real one ! that's also a first for me who'd spent my entire life decorating the same old plastic tree that thinned out year after year (I love you and will always love you you old thing); - we made a list of the decorations and food we needed to buy, - and on that very day, we both went separate ways for about two hours in order to find gifts. That evening, we both spent more than an hour locked up in different rooms trying to pack up the presents as beautifully as possible with the very little material we had. After that we each chose something to do. My love was the cook :

et moi, ben ... j'ai fais l'idiote en prenant des selfies ridicules ... mais j'ai aussi décorer la table et préparer la salade !

and silly me, well ... kept being silly by taking ridiculous selfies ... but I also decorated the table and prepared the salad !

Bref les cadeaux nous narguaient sous l'arbre, et le repas de Noël sur la table n'attendait plus que d'être déguster. Après s'être bien rempli le bide, on est rester en amoureux a boire du vin, regarder la télé et dire des bêtises en attendant minuit pour ouvrir nos cadeaux. Mais ce qu'on à surtout fait, c'est prendre pleeeeeins de photos de nous deux, parce que franchement, on en a jamais suffisamment :3 . Je vous laisse admirer nos belles gueules et nos bêtises :

Anyways, now the gifts were taunting us under the tree, and the Christmas dinner was waiting to be savored. After eating so much we'd felt like exploding, we sat down like lovebirds and drank wine watching funny stuff on tv, and saying silly stories all the time, waiting for midnight so we'd finally be able to open up our presents. But what we also did was to take lots of silly photos of the two of us, because seriously, how can you ever have enough of these :3 ? Have fun looking at our beautiful and silly faces:

Enfin bref, on a passé des heures à rire, à s'enlacer et à boire sur notre petit canapé, et j'aurais pu continuer ainsi jusqu'à la fin de ma vie; être assise à coté de lui, à la lueur des guirlandes lumineuses qui nous entouraient, ses bras me tenant tout contre lui. J'en avais presque oublié les cadeaux.

Anyways, we spent hours laughing and cuddling and drinking on our little couch, and I could have spent the rest of my life like that; sitting next to him, dim light surrounding us, his arms holding me close. It nearly made me forget about the presents waiting under the tree.

Passons maintenant aux choses sérieuses : LES CADEAUX ! C'était pas ce qu'il y avait de plus simple de trouver des cadeaux à la dernière minute, et surtout, de trouver des cadeaux sympa et qui plairaient... Perso, je n'ai pas pu trouver tout ce que je voulais, et je me suis sentie un peu con en voyant ce que lui m'avait acheter, et ce que moi je lui avait acheter. Mais vous savez quoi? On a tous les deux ADORER ! Et je regrette terriblement de n'avoir pris aucune photo ou video, parce que c'était un moment magique ! J'avais l'impression d'être retomber en enfance et lui aussi. On s'était chacun offert des cadeaux simples et ludiques, mais le plus important c'est que nos cadeaux collaient parfaitement à nos personnalité respective : Pour mon chéri qui est passionné de dessin (et qui fait de superbes oeuvres que vous pouvez voir ici et là) et de tatouage, j'ai décidé de lui offrir quelque chose qui lui permettra de toujours se sentir inspiré et d'améliorer sa technique : deux bouquins sur l'art du tatouage.

Let's get to the good part : THE PRESENTS! It wasn't easy finding gifts at the last minute, and it was even harder to find something that would fit our personalities and that would be fun. I personally couldn't find everything I was looking for, and felt a little "bleh" when I saw what my man got me. But you know what? we both LOVED what we got! And I really regret not having taken picture or videos while we where opening our presents because it was a magical moment. We both had the feeling we where falling back into childhood. And that was absolutely awesome. We both gave each other simple but fun presents, but that fit perfectly our personalities : For my love, who's very passionate about drawing and painting (you can see him awesome work here and here) as well as the art of tattooing, I decided to get something that I hoped would always keep him inspired and let him perfect his technique : two books about the art of tattooing and drawing tattoos.

Et mon chéri connaissant mon amour pour la photographie et surtout l'argentique à choisit de m'offrir un mug en forme d'objectif (putain putain putain vous avez pas idée à quel point j'étais trop contente ! ça faisait des années que j'en voulais un), eeeeet un  LOMO KONSTRUKTOR à savoir un appareil argentique à monter sois même (oui oui vous m'avez bien 'entendu' - et ohmagaaaad ça faisait depuis sa sortie que je le voulais, alors je vous laisse imaginer le bonheur de découvrir ça) avec un paquet de 3 pellicules lomo !

And since my love knew how much I adore photography and especially film cameras, he got me a lens mug (yaaay yaaay yaaay you guys have no idea for how long i've been waiting to finally get one of these! I was so damn happy), aaaaaaaand a LOMO KONSTRUKTOR which is a film camera that you need to build all by yourself (yes yes you 'heard' me well - and ohmagad ever since that thing came out on the market I've always wanted to get one, so you can imagine the excitement when I unpacked it) with a triple lomo film pack !

Mon p'tit monstre profite de ses bouquins pour créer de nouvelles oeuvres, et moi je dois attendre de passer mes partiels demain et après demain avant de pouvoir enfin monter et profiter de mon Lomo Konstruktor (argh) ! C'était une soirée magique et j'ai déjà hâte au prochain Noël :) Voilààààà, c'est déjà finit ! j'espère que vous avez passez un aussi beau Noël que moi et je souhaite une bonne rentrée à tous les étudiant(e)s en panique qui commence leurs exams bientôt :)

My little monster is having fun with his books, creating new art pieces every day, and I still need to wait until I've taken my exams tomorrow and after-tomorrow to finally be able to build and use my Lomo Konstruktor (argh)! It was a magical night, and I can't wait for next Christmas to be here :) Here yaaa gooo, it's already over! I hope you all had an awesome and beautiful Christmas just like me, and I'm wishing all you panicked students good luck for your exams :)
