Restaurant Côté Jardin, TN

Back in June, to celebrate a late one year anniversary, my man took me to a lovely restaurant called "Côté Jardin".

It's a beautiful, colorful and very well designed restaurant, with dim light and lot's of plants and pretty things hanging on the walls ! If you don't want to go there for lunch or dinner, than just go grab a coffee and something sweet to eat :)

There's an indoor & an outdoor part. The surroundings aren't very busy, or at least weren't the night we went there, so we enjoyed sitting outside.

The food was absolutely delicious, and the waiters were very nice. After the dinner we even got a big glass of Tunisian mint tea (that is free, and included in every meal I guess).

I'll do a quick recap at the end the post, but for now I'll just let you enjoy the photos of the restaurant :)

En Juin dernier, histoire de célébrer (en retard) notre premier anniversaire, mon homme m'a emmené dans un charmant restaurant appelé " Côté Jardin ".

Le restaurant est beau, coloré et très bien conçu : lumière tamisée, plein de plantes et de jolies choses accrochées aux murs! Si vous ne voulez pas y aller pour déjeuner ou dîner, allez-y simplement histoire de prendre un café et quelque chose de sucré à grignoter :)

Il y'a une partie intérieure et une extérieure. Les alentours sont plutôt calmes, ou du moins l'étaient la nuit où nous y sommes allés, donc nous avons beaucoup apprécié pouvoir s'assoir à l'extérieur.

La nourriture était absolument délicieuse, et le personnel accueillant. Après le dîner, nous avons même eu droit à un grand verre de thé à la menthe (c'est gratuit, et inclus dans chaque repas, je suppose).

the best calamari I've ever eaten in my entire life (I'm a huge calamari lover, actually we both are, so yeah, this was heaven for us) / le meilleur calamar doré que j'ai mangé de ma vie (mon chéri et moi sont des amoureux de calamar doré, alors c'était le paradis pour nous)

and the best cordon bleu I've ever tasted for my love / et le meilleur cordon bleu que j'ai jamais gouté pour mon amour

we had a "fondant au chocolat" for desert, and it was reaaally good ! (and of course, the tea to end the dinner) / pour le dessert on a pris un "fondant au chocolat" qui était vraiment superbe !

the decoration is very unusual but that's what makes this place unique / la déco est très inhabituelle mais c'est ce qui rend cet endroit unique

*good service and really nice waiters, the boss even kept the restaurant open after the closing hour so we could stay a little longer and enjoy the end of our night (everyone else had left)*
*un bon service, personnel accueillant. le boss a même garder le restaurant ouvert après l'horaire de fermeture juste pour qu'on puisse finir notre soirée sans devoir se presser (tous les autres employés étaient partis depuis un moment)*

IN CONCLUSION :

Loved it ! true, the service is VERY slow, but everything else is so great that it makes up for the long waiting time :)

I had a really lovely evening, especially since the restaurant was nearly empty that night, and it made everything so much more romantic.
EN CONCLUSION:
J'AI ADORÉ !! c'est vrai, le service est vraiment très lent, mais tout le reste était tellement bien que ça nous a fait oublier l'attente :)
J'ai passée une superbe soirée, et le fait que le restaurant était presque désert ce soir là, ça la rendu encore meilleure et romantique
